Setting Your Status: Do Not Disturb
To activate Do Not Disturb (DND) in Switchvox, you can use either your physical desk phone or the web interface at the specific URL you provided.
Method 1: REMOTE - Using the Web Interface (Switchboard)
This method is ideal if you are away from your desk or prefer managing settings via your computer.
Log In: Log in with your Extension number and Password.
- Logging into the Website
- Go to https://opsu.ptsi.net/
- Log in with your Extension number and Password.
- Change Status
- Look for the Status icon or menu, usually located in the top-right corner of the page (it may display your current status like "Available").
- Click the menu and select Do Not Disturb from the list.
- (Optional) You can add a status note if you want to provide more details to coworkers.
- Click Save or Set Status.
Method 2: IN-PERSON - Using Your Sangoma Desk Phone
If you are at your desk, this is the fastest way to toggle the setting.
- Softkey Method
- Press the Status softkey (one of the buttons directly under the screen) when the phone is idle.
- Use the navigation arrows to scroll down and highlight Do Not Disturb.
- Press the Select or Set softkey.
- Dedicated Button (if available):
- Some Sangoma phone models (like the P330 and P370) have a dedicated DND button (often an icon of a circle with a line through it or labeled "DND"). Pressing this button toggles the mode on and off instantly.
What happens when "Do Not Disturb" is active?
- Direct Calls: Incoming calls to your extension will go immediately to your voicemail (unless you have specific Call Rules set up to do otherwise).
- Queue Calls: You will be temporarily logged out of or marked unavailable for any call queues you are part of.
- Visual Indicator: Your phone status light or screen icon will usually turn red or show a "Stop" symbol to indicate DND is active.
